A great night last night at the Summer Presentation held at St. Theresas, Blacon with no trophies being left over except for 180's so not a lot to carry home. A few teams missing out but that's their problem.

We had a singles competition run by Andy Lavender & John Bennett with 32 entrants on the night playing down to one winner. Winner: Keith Burns, Runner up: Matt Dutton

A very good night all told and very enjoyable, lots going on. My thanks to Andy and John for organizing the competition which ran very smoothly.

What a tremendous night for darts at the Singles finals tonight with some great darts being thrown and a great turnout. Two tremendous finals with B. Moran winning 1/2nd Division and I. Goulding runner up, P. Kendrick winning 3/4th Division with A. Pickett runner up. A reallly great night. Once again my thanks to John Jones of King's Head for taking control of 3/4th Division.

What a good night for darts at the Doubles finals tonight with a lot of very good darts being thrown. We had a fairly good turn out and again thankfully everything ran smoothly. My thanks to John Jones of King's Head who helped by taking control of 3/4th Division. Winners were 1/2nd Division L. Chadwick & A. Stanley - 3/4th Division I. Rule & A. Davidson

What a good night for darts at the singles finals tonight, my thanks to Les Pickett who helped me and took over organizing the 3/4th Division. We had a good turn out and thankfully everything ran smoothly.

Wednesday, 30/07/08

All finalists are now on site for competitions. There was a very poor turnout for the singles, after having 100 entrants in 1/2nd division and having to bring the finals down to 16 players I have been notified that at some venues there was perhaps only 2 or 3 players turning up, some I was notified of but with these there should have been at least 5 or 6 players at each venue. I would ask that in future if you know that you will not be there please do not enter.
